Today I emailed a company in Hawaii who do Lost tours. When Adam tried to book it earlier it didn't work, there was some error on their website. Those of you that know me well know I LOVED that show. We both did. Well maybe me more but anyways. So they do various tours and I really really really want to do the 10 hour tour cause you get to see way cool stuff like the others camp and the temple. We had wanted to do this the day after we arrive but can't because they normally only do it on Monday (the day we wanted is a Friday) - luckily they are also doing one on Saturday, bonus! Its been difficult to book things we want to do that are time limited cause the likelihood of missing out is high. Yay for us, LOST tour - in a Hummer!!! (well as soon as Adam calls them with our CC details, get to it MF!)

Today I had a look at our flight information and since I'm a flyer but not a flyer from way back I got Adam to speak to Qantas just to make sure I was reading it all right... We have a early flight to Brisbane, then to LA then to NY. And we arrive at NY like 12 hours after we fly out of Sydney, but thats only to ya'll, to us its YEARS LATER!  I wanted to know if the QLD flight was domestic and then do we change to international and do they transfer all our luggage for us... Works out they give us all the tickets when we check in Sydney, we go domestic there then in QLD we go international, they transfer our luggage for us - we have to do the customs thing in LA but it all sounds so smooth and easy - now we just gotta get upgraded to first class!

10 DAYS TO GO...

You may have noticed Kim suggested I check out a website (sabretooth.com) for when we are in NYC. Well I did this and its a place that custom makes fangs for you. AWESOME! I had seen it on a tv show so I'm glad she found it for me... anyways I emailed them cause I wanted to know if they make the fangs while your there and the guy emailed back saying which dates, i replied saying 7th October and he said perfect timing... I really wanted to say DUDE I ASKED YOU A QUESTION but instead I said Father Sebastiaan (yes, thats his name) will I be able to get the fangs while I'm there and he sent back of course. Easy. Shoulda said that to start with!
Finally I will have my fangs!! \/vvvv\/

11 DAYS REMAINING...

Some of you are aware where we are travelling to and I promise to let you all know what dates where on the most significant of countdown numbers (six of course) but for now you know we are heading to NYC... Well today I had my awesome scullcandy Metallica headfones on (why I felt a need to plug them then is beyond me!) and Megadeth came on and I was like OMG I hope they play this song!!! High Speed Dirt, don't ya love it!!  I just think that song ending is so fantastic. Of course while in NYC why not head over to Long Island and mosh to some old school metal! 

Heres something HILARIOUS, I put Megadeth on in the car the other day and Adams like is that his voice BAHAHAHAHA hes so young... We've seen Slayer before but not Anthrax, I think I'll see how many Bud's I can digest in that time (oh and Oogy to answer your question Bud's are Budweisers, SILLY QUESTION!!)

I figured since we will be doing the whole goth thing in NYC we need to find some sort of night entertainment. We had actually heard about a cool place on a Real Vampires show we watched ages ago so I checked it out. Its called Blood Manor and from the outside it just looks like a typical building but they have a youtube clip of the inside and it looks AWESOME!! They have real actors doing the scary stuff, making you scream and all. The owner says if you shit your pants you get a free shirt, I'm sure Adam will do that. Its open to some stupid late times and there are exits throughout for the lamoids who are too scared. They say they don't touch you (which is good cause I would want to burn them HAHAHAHAHAHAHA) and the tour takes around half hour. Who would of thought that Kadam would go to a pretend haunted place... :)

13 DAYS TO GO

So, works out that Adam was silly a while ago and made a bet with me. You know what he said? I'll drink you under the table in America. HA! So tell me, whats your vote? The one who always drinks Buds or other beers if Bud unavailable (stella or crownies if your interested) or the one who orders Sparkling Mineral Water? That gets served at some places in a wine glass? Makes you do that stupid pose thinking doesn't it....

2 WEEKS TO GO!!

Well, I decided to check out goth shops in New York and WOW like I cannot wait to get there!! Well I can cause I have to but I wouldn't mind getting to NYC right now. Or even tomorrow. But two weeks I have to wait and I'm sure I can do that. 
I found a website that is just all things goth, and it lists so many different awesome things. Like places of interest are mostly cemeteries. One cool thing is the shops, and they are so kind as to give you subway references. I think I'm going to have to look at the subway though because it makes my forehead crease looking at it. Its just circles with letters and colours and numbers. I had a look at one store and it had a clip and I was almost having a heart attack, THEY HAVE TWO WALLS OF BOOTS AND SHOES do you understand how UTTERLY AWESOME THAT IS! Imagine, your trying on whatever Demonia's (the best brand of goth shoe/boot) and having a Bud on tap at the same time, if there were a heaven I'm sure that is what would be going on, of course you'd be sitting in a '64 Impala at the time :)

15 DAYS TO GO

  

The other day we booked a helicopter flight for when we are in Vegas, it takes us to the Grand Canyon and we stop and have lunch and stuff then we have a quick flight over The Strip. We picked a 3.30pm thing figuring when we fly over the strip it will be sunset. They advertise its complimentary pick up and drop off from the hotel.

So we get our confirmation email and it states they don’t pick up or drop off from our particular hotel and confirms a time of 1pm.

I send them an email and they tell us they can’t help the hotel pick up/drop off thing and that the last time in October is 1pm.

I’m not pissed about it or anything cause really what else have we got to do but they could at least state these things on the website. Anyways I’m sure it will be brilliant, even if they do only provide champagne not buds when we stop for lunch!

16 DAYS TO GO

Well hey there, thanks for choosing to follow us! The posts will more than likely be done by me (Kate) but when I'm too drunk or fingers aren't working anymore Adam will be doing it. But you'll probably have to read me ranting as usual!

First post, 16 days to go and we are so excited already! Most of you know I haven't really been that pumped about it, you know more important things to count down to but its almost here and theres nothing else to count down to!

The plan is to update this daily and include some pics, hopefully of us having Bud everywhere but also interesting stuff, like me and me and me and maybe one of Adam HAHAHAHA
